Become a Trustee

Would you like to join our Board of Trustees? Our Trustees play a crucial role in overseeing the work of the Trust and setting up the direction of where the organisation is going.

There are TWO types of Trustee:

Elected Trustees have to be ordinary members* or be eligible to become an ordinary member, and are elected by the ordinary members. There can be up to 8 Elected Trustees.

Co-opted Trustees can be from within or outwith the Lochalsh area. They tend to be people with special skills and are Appointed by the Board. For example: We are currently looking for a TREASURER, however we are keen to hear from anyone who could help us bring additional skills and experience to the table. For more information please contact Jo at development@lochalsh.uk or call 01599 534505.

*You must be a member of KLCT to be an ELECTED Trustee, and it is restricted to residents aged 18 years and over within the post codes of IV40 (excluding all postcodes on the Island of Raasay), IV52, IV53 and postcode IV41 8PG.
